Storytelling
Thursday, January 3rd, 2008Lifehack.org has a great article today on Storytelling and Learning. This is something I have learned over time when I have been teaching or speaking in front of groups. The best way to convey ideas is in the use of Metaphor or other similar language tools.
In their book Made to Stick, Chip & Dan Heath discuss the same type of principle when it comes to sticky ideas. Seth Godin expands upon this in All Marketers are Liars and ties it more directly into how to develop stories around products or solutions.
The point being, the better you are at this, the more accepted your ideas will become!
