Massive thanks to James for helping me get the new radio installed.  I finally worked out what I think were the last of the gremlins, and my “Find Me” link on the right will now work again.  Apparently, some things have changed over the last 8 months or so, and the digipeater I use to hit is not up and running anymore (or it hates me).  I had to drive up the road to get the thing to register.

Anyway… had a very fun time getting it going in the Jeep, and I’m looking forward to lots of fun with it!
