Haircut time today, so I left the house a few minutes early and headed to the local early AM hangout… The Starbucks.  Yes, we have at least 6 within a 5 mile radius of the house so it’s not like this is a special fun hangout, but it’s my first road trip with the new mac.  I’ve got a list of errands to complete before returning home to enjoy Garrett for the day.  Going to hit Best Buy to see if I can get a new splitter for my TV.  The local CBS affiliate has just about disappeared off my screen due to the signal falling out.  I visited a local HDTV forum and they suggested a new splitter may be in order (among other things). So that’s on the list for today.

When I get home, I’l be working on y new article a bit more, and upgrading the site to WordPress 2.2 which was just released.  Figures… I spend all this time getting this software set up and they release a milestone AFTERWARDS.  Oh well.  That all gets to happen during nap time anyway.

Wanted to help dad get his mac on my wireless network this weekend, but he’s on the road to somewhere.  Now that I have mine, I’m sure I’ll be getting those random Mac questions!  Bummer, cause over the last several years (pretty much since OS-X came out), I’ve been able to pawn him off on James.  Oh well, time to resume my sonly duties.
