I fell in love with Macs at my old job @ UTSouthwestern, the analytical software we were using was only compatible with Mac OS. I do miss them, and even though I did not enjoy the switch back to PCs, I am just flat out timid to make the switch back. Plus, I have no clue if the software I must use now would work. Good for you, n3rd.

Told ya, Global Warming is getting sucker punched this week. It took me 2 hours to get home yesterday from work, left at 2:30. I can relate! By the way, tell our Dad that he only lives 3 miles north of us, and to stop referring to his location as “way up here” and how different the weather was “way up here.” ;P

Amen to that. Though I lucked out and got access to the British Airways lounge. Heathrow seemed worse than Gatwick though, course, I did not have access to any lounges there.

I did get the joy of the Gatwick Express! And had fun riding the tube this AM. That was pretty fun! I can see the allure of the Underground, but boy is it expensive there.

Mind the gap!

I hate Gatwick because they make you wait until just before flight time before making the 150 mile trek to your gate, all the while passing empty seats galore, while in the “holding area” even floor space is a premium.

I had a 7:30am flight this morning to Ann Arbor, and there were lots of people sleeping on cots from Tuesday cancellations - but it sure was funny watching people wake up with all sorts of travelers suddenly around them! haha.

That is what family is all about. I am so glad that we bought our weather radio this year, since I might not have even woke up. You can always count on me to just make sure when it is something nasty. Montana only wakes us up if it is thundering:)

I second that - was lying in bed slightly awake from the thunder, and when the phone rang @ 1:30ish, I knew it was Dad, and that meant that it something was really wrong. Freaking out didn’t help the whole asthma thing, and neither did the fact that 1080AM was only breaking in every 10 minutes to update on a freaking tornado warning. Stoopids.
